CAS No.:10163-15-2
Sodium Monofluorophosphate
Molecular Formula: FH3NaO3P
CAS NO.: 10163-15-2
UN NO.: N/A
Properties: White crystal or powder. The melting point is 625 ℃. The saturated aqueous solution contains 42% sodium monofluorophosphate at 25 ℃. The pH value of 2% dilute solution is 6.5~8. Decahydrate (Na2P03F-10H2 0) can be obtained by crystallization from 0 ℃ aqueous solution. If the crystallization water is removed by heating, it will lead to hydrolysis. Anhydrous sodium monofluorophosphate can be obtained by multiple extraction with ethanol or other organic solvents.
Application
In terms of toothpaste, sodium monofluorophosphate is the most widely used toothpaste additive in the world and an excellent anti caries agent and tooth desensitizer
In terms of food
1) As a food additive: It can be seen from long-term clinical experiments that sodium monofluorophosphate, as a source of fluoride, is better than other common fluoride raw materials (such as sodium fluoride). Sodium monofluorophosphate can be used as food additive to increase food nutrition
2) As the raw material of chewing gum, it has good caries prevention effect.
In terms of medical treatment
1) It is used to regulate menopause: sodium monofluorophosphate can be used to regulate blood lipid and lipoprotein metabolism in menopausal women.
2) It is used to increase bone mass and relieve osteoporosis: sodium monofluorophosphate can promote osteoblast differentiation and diffusion, at the same time, it can promote bone mass to increase. This effect is caused by the fluoride inhibiting growth factor in acid phosphatase.
In industry, it is used as a corrosion inhibitor. When the reinforcement is corroded, a series of protection and repair methods can strengthen the concrete structure, and the corrosion inhibitor is the most attractive substitute. As a rust inhibitor, MFP can slow down the corrosion of reinforcement.
