Application
In the food industry, BHT can be used as a food additive to delay food rancidity. BHT antioxidants are used in animal and vegetable oils and foods
containing animal and vegetable oils
In the feed industry, it can be used as a feed antioxidant to protect the vitamins in feed and prevent the oxidative loss of fat and protein. It also has certain antibacterial effect.
In the rubber industry, BHT is a phenolic antioxidant commonly used in rubber. It has a protective effect on the thermal and oxygen aging of latex products and can also inhibit the damage of copper.
